It seems that apparently the video does not tell the full story, the kid with no ticket supposedly did buy a return, but the ticket was printed wrong, and he ended up with two single tickets for one way.

If this is the case, how good is "the big man" now? How impressed would you be if it were your son/brother?

Don't know how true any of this is, but makes you think.

I think the issues is the the attitude that the kid had, rather than the rights or wrongs of the actual ticket.

I'm pretty sure had it been a mistake on my ticket a gental expination to the gaurd could have resolved the situation. But the kid used abuse.

Wil, I agree, but playing devils advocate, the video clearly starts part way in to the argument, who knows what has happened previously, the conductor with his repeated "I'm getting paid etc" is clearly the worst kind of jobsworth..

There are allways two sides to any story but,

(a) When I buy a ticket/tickets I normally check they are what I paid for, and

(b) If I'm going to get pissed (the only reason I would normally use a train) then I check I have the correct ticket in my hand/pocket before the conductor/inspector asks for it.

He got what he deserved just for his attitude and as for the "Father" cashing in on press interviews, well it just shows how low society has sunk.

I think there was no need to be a dick with the old man, yes he is getting paid, but not for some kid student to kick off at him for doing his job.
Now I Know there is a lot of lads on here that are students, so this is not a I hate students post, but there are lots of hard working people that are sick of them.

its highly unlikely the ticket was printed wrong. and if it was he should have checked it first. i always check my tickets because i dont want to pay for something thats wrong. (thats just the way i am, i always check everything to make sure its right) and if he did indeed have two singles (which would both be exactly the same) he could have argued that it was indeed printed wrong but we dont know that, BUT if that was the case, the chav would have said that and not seemed like he was lying. he was laughing, which in my books is when someone is lying.

I think that if he had not been pissed and a cocky cunt he would have been treated different, speaking to the attendant in a cival manner showing the two tickets you bought in error would have started a resolution, i think i would have been pissed off with listening to that shit after a hard days work.

Id have launched him off for looking a twat.

On a serious note, im guessing he was probably being a nob to start with.....

The young lad had every opportunity to sort the problem out, show the right ticket but chose to be obnoxious and hold up the journey for everyone. Too right he got launched off the train although it could have been done better, making sure he had all his possessions and without causing injury.

Im with the kid that got kicked off, i had security called on me before going to london to see my dad because they said i had a fake ticket and wasnt ment to be in first class ect. As he used to work for first grate western i could travel any class for free. Alot of them i have found from my experiance think they are amazing. Yes the kid shouldnt have lost it but its easy to when someone wont listen to you when your trying to explain something

Station security, ha. Not sure what station he was at, but only large stations have any BTP presence, in Scotland they are few and far between, most stations are a platform and a shelter.

As for your first-class pass issue. What happened? were you civil and alowed to stay on the train? or did you spout off and get chucked through the door?

I did stay on, i wasnt going to go anywhere, yes i did kick up a fuss but not quite like that. Tbh the way people percive otheres is abit of a joke.
I agree he was in the wrong going to far but still not right at all for being chucked physically off the train, i would have lost it like most others would have
