My mini claimed it's first victim today. Me!

Tripped over the gas line into the MIG while messing with a different inlet manifold design, fell over, bounced off the front end (which survived fine - well done ABS motorsport) landed on my back and cracked my head on the wheel of a Vauxhall Magnum. Top points to my brother for getting me to A&E in record time in my car.

The thing that impressed me most, was 40min later I'm out and on my way home with my scalp glued together. They seemed quite busy too. Loads of doctors and nurses working, loads of people in and out. All very efficient and completely unexpected. Kudos to Bassetlaw Hospital.

I remember when i cracked my head off the living room door as a kid and had my head glued, couldn't stop myself picking at the glue >_<

I'm guessing pulling strenuously at something, pliers lost grip, so Andy punched himself in the face with them?

Spot on Mr Fenton. Pealing the remains of a rear quarter of the wheel arch on my mini. Lesson learnt...

It changed my nose from large and bumpy to large, bumpy and bent.

That's nothing! A split my complete nose open with a piece of sheet metal I tried to bend with two pliers... Needed five stitches to sew it together. They couldn't glue it, as it was too deep (right to the bone). And bled like hell... It also broke.

Beat that! *hehe!*

(I'm a pirate now, btw *wink*)

I think I can beat that - a bloke at work cut the end of my index finger off with a DB7 full exhaust system, we were putting it in a skip, I had leather welding gauntlets on and put my end up on the edge of the skip and he shoved it in before I got my hand out the way, the silencer crushed my finger and rolled the flesh off the bone then took the bone off aswell. 2 days in hospital and a general anaesthetic 3 hour operation to put it back together - and a marvelous job they did too

I seriously doubt it!

That sounds nasty. I put myself in hospital after crashing a motorbike into a cliff whilst riding round a rainforest in Vietnam. Two hour ride in the back of a lada with my leg cut to the bone n bleeding all over mates shirt is tied round it. Got to hospital and it wasn't cracking, bamboo bed and all the village was looking at me through the hole in the wall (no window). Next morning I got back on the bike to see the forest again. Then a week later it got infected, went to good hospital in main city and got rushed through for xray and all cleaned up just for $ 1. Had to go back every day for cleaning by a fit nurse, and on second day thy told me to not bother paying and come in the back. Got big 10 inch scar and my xray as souvenirs.
