Thought you lot might appreciate this due to the quality and attention to detail, and the longman engine *happy*

'build' is a bit rich.

He's done a before and after shot of him adding a sticker to the fucking catch tank.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I don't mind 'attention to detail', but he's changed the front shocks and gearshift twice before even driving the car???

Seems like he'd rather piss around with stuff than drive it.

Is he one of those detailing guys?

I think quite a few people off the pistonheads forum with 106's try to build something like this beast.

The blue car is nice, but its not been driven yet.

Very nice car, it is a shame he drives it like a fucking tool on the road, should save it for the track where it belongs.

I read about 1/2 a page and got bored. Forum fanboy.
I also do not see the point of ruining a Rallye by putting the GTI 16v motor in. If you wanted a 106 GTI go and fucking buy one. A mate of mine had a blue 1.6 106 Rallye, it was ace fun with the revvy 8v engine, sadly the guy who bought it after him did the predictable and ruined it with a 16v motor.

Warwick.

Seen the build before... photographing a sticker is a bit retarded!!
the rallyes were apparently lighter, less trim etc... my friends got one which was already bastardised which he now rallies. it doesnt really retain any of the rallye bits in anycase but they were all non sunroof too i believe, took me a while ti hunt for a non sunroof GTI in black
The 16v is a nice engine though and goes alright in its near standard form
