Im pretty sure you can use any paint on radiator Ive used standed black spray paint on mine , and Its been fine up to now, but if you want you can use engine paint (car plan) if your quick with the brush it does dry fast and does not like you going back over with the brush again, smooth's out nice keeps its shine.. Simoniz Tough Black, satin finish, looks original and lasts well, provided its been prepped well. |

Hammerite, stays on my engine ok 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

I think i just used normal paint, but it did flake off after a few months. HT spray paint should be fine. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

When used to repair them and build new one's we use to spray them with bitchin paint Craig

Cheers folks, ended up using hammershite and given it a few coats, hopefully it'll be fine... I only sprayed the header and bottom part. |
