We have been royally ripped off by the company who were helping us sort our conservatory from hell.
I seriously doubt it! |

Man with bat and a % for collection is about your only option. This of course assumes you are willing to bet they don't have a man with a bigger bat. |

You probably know this already, but you have to pay the court bailiffs to attempt to enforce the judgement, whether they are successful or not. If the person the judgement is against states that he/she has no assets then the bailiffs cannot distrain (seize and sell) anything to get you your money.

Youve got no way of enforcing it, to many loop holes for them, and ultimately even if baliefs seize any property to sell they have to sign it over to them or else its theft from them. All a ccj does is say that they are legally liable for the amount. It doesnt say that they will pay it. one day boost will be mine!

I feel for you. Similar to what happened to me, i won and because he closed the company and started a new one the next day i now have no turbo engine and no money. It seems the law lets these people and companies get away with it. I cant get my head around why its allowed but its a bitch. I really hope u get your money back as i know how stressful it can be. Solicitors should be able to do a search for assets however it starts getting messy if it is a company as opposed to an individual |
