im after a straight cut box for my 1098 the newer the better..

I have a box. new bearings through out less than 1000miles ago. Gearest has less than 2000 miles on it. it has no diff, drops or final drive. has an a+ transfer housing with matching bearings.

Ive broke many bulk rings on 2nd and 4th, I think its because I change into those gears with a lot of force on the gearstick which pushes the bulk ring hard onto the cone. No damage will be done to the cone but it breaks the rings. It doesnt mean the box is a dud I seriously doubt it! |

As Paul said. a hard change into second on the strip did it. the box is fine.
