Newbie here, always wanted a turboed or supercharged car. I currently have a 1993 1275cc mini sprite, stock apart from a play mini back box and I have a HIF 44 to put on soon.
Thanks

Welcome to TM, just to echo Benross' comment really, superchargers dont really work unless you're 100% dedicated to it, many have spent hundreds trying to get them to run correctly, then ended up taking the supercharger off in favour of a turbo. But if a supercharger is what you really want, then have a go! Edited by Carlzilla on 22nd Dec, 2011. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

yes andy its also about how the car feels on the road...your right! no good having balistic power and the car been very dangerouse! lee i dont mean to sort of place a damp squid on you future project .... super- chargers make good power and sound fantastic!............ but a turbo A series makes much more of an intresting mini ...in my book lol as I said above I dont have a preference on one or the other just seems there are more kits with all bits available to SC. To turbo im going to need to do a lot more reading and see if its possible with my current engine first with out to many mods is the idea. Is there a simple answer to what I need to change on my A+ lump to turbo it? Edited by bunch1980 on 23rd Dec, 2011. Thanks
