Hi, the golf was rusty :( spent about 2 hours deciding and looking arround it, but the mk1 golf was £2800 and was rusty as hell underneath and behind the plastic arches (where you lot told me to look).

six speed box only available on the timmy turbos!!!ie cav turbo and calibra turbo!

nice motor!!!!!...... wouldnt worry about the amout you paid for it.... the standard gsi's with red tops in good nick seem to go (or at least be advertised for) for the same as you paid(!)... and you got a turbo one!!!! nice..... what sort of horses is it? any idea? And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

dave, I'm not supprised you did dave, but your in a 13 sec 1/4 mile mini, feebs has allready said that the astra is not as quick as the mini. I just find it hard to work out that it's quicker than the m3, but I've been wrong before. On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

is it a redtop engine thats been converted to turbo or a proper LETengine? hard to tell from pic...the airfilter in the right position like.....

jim, feebles new astra is a turbo..... hence the 6 speed box! if you look closely, you can just see the actuator arm And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

Seems pretty good to me! hit 140mph on the a12 the other day and still had a little left, and thats standard, well apart from NISMO induction kit and stainless Backbox. oh well, dunno much about them anyway, it just think its nice :) NO LONGER A <3 lover of BOLT-ON plastic <3 ....
