gerry marshall, he was abig fella, more like a rugby player, but stick him in a tintop saloon car he was the master of the car, gerry best years was late 60ty to early 80tys, probilly beter known by us senior citizens?, driving for dealer team vaukhall, cars and engines by bill blydenstein, cars were viva hb. ferenza. BIG BERTHA, bertha was powered v8 noise from it was unbeleviable, but alas the days of special saloons have gone, any way i was lucky enough to see those majic days thundering v8 in escorts skodas even a daf screaming bda in hillman imps. oh and gerry marshall smiling face as he one again. yes i was there, thanks for the memories |
