Not very sunny swanage

my 76 mini did have a switch fitted into the fluid system, down by the front drivers side wheel to light up the brake lights, however i have had problems with these and so have decided to change over the the pedal mounted switch..... i have two questions regarding this that someone may be able to answer......

1. what do i do with the hole left by the fluid switch? i suppose i could feasibly leave it in there, or just replace it with a short bolt???

2. (and more importantly) ive had to use my pedals (dont know where the others went) with the newer pedal box, and the switch doesnt seem to touch the brake pedal at all..... does the later pedal have a extra bit added to operate the switch???? anybody got any pics if im right, or th answer if im wrong?

cheers guys and gals,

Pete

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!

just leave the old one in until replacing the lines then fit the later style.
