I'm no expert, but as long as I've got my angle grinder and big hammer, I'm sure I'll manage to work it out.

My digi verniers are really good and were only £10. Ive double checked them with my non digital ones and they are identical everytime...battery doesn't last long though!

i had a cheap one first but after a couple of months it would measure anything upto .25mm different everytime, same with the moore and wright ones, couple of blokes at work had them and quickly got rid. im on my second mitutoyo now as i wore out the first one for measuring bores, used to measure everything .04 big. definitely worth the extra money.

My Mitutoyo ones are at least 15 years old and read to within 0.01mm every time. I've had stuff precision machined and they tell me that the parts match the CAD drawings. Good enough for me.

You'll have to stop abusing them *hehe!*

A bore gauge is for measuring bores *wink*

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
