Not very sunny swanage

assuming i have a standard two pot 8.4 set up and a metro vented 4 pot set up, what is the easiest way of mating the two. i have read tonnes on this, and there doesnt seem to be a clear answer available anywhere........

as i see it, why cant i use the normal mini setup with the vented discs on, and the 4 pot calipers? (i realise i need era bolts, and conversion hoses) everyone else seems to use the metro set up with early ball joints etc etc?????

ta peeps!

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!

use the metro callipers/discs/drive flanges on your mini hubs, with the ERA bolts and the conversion hoses.

you'll need to machine/grind the lugs off the front of the metro drive flanges but thats about it.

easiest way, use 8.4disk mini hubs,

get the metro disks, pads, calipers and drive flanges.

Get the flanges machined flat (they have locating lugs on them),
fit the calipers on with era bolts,
plumb them in with conversion pipes,
Fit disks with metro flanges (be sure to use metro metric bolts between the flanges and the disk)

Bleed ure brakes, jobs a gudden
