I may have to sell the mini in the next few months. obviously I want the most i can get for the car so I will hold out till the season starts again.

the car was a 998 automatic and as such the shell is pretty good. The paint work is OK with a little surfacr rust on the roof rail but nothing major. the rest of the body is good. its had a new front end at some point.

Interior is from an E36 and is full leather, centre consol etc etc, new carpets new roof lining new door cards to match everything.

Its had a new genuine rear subframe, re con radius arms with new bushes throughout the car. in fact pretty much everything has been renewed. New pro tech dampers, new minisport 7.5" non vented discs with drilled discs. new rear drums new drum pads.

Its has Force Racing split specials (10x6.5") that are about 6 months old, with A008 as new tyres.

The engine is a Rob Walker machined 1293cc with 10cc omega cast pistons, re ground crank (one size on all journals) fully balanced rotating assembly. MED FIS cylinder head, PH2 billet cam, RTS clutch built with a turbo spring and a 1275 metro spring and a rally plate (fully balanced), new bearings etc et...

It is mounted to a trans-x full (not clubman) SCCR gearbox with a 3.2 X pin final drive fitted.

Rebuilt by honeywell (garrett) GT17 with matty manifold (no bulk head box), 2" maniflow down pipe and single box exhaust.

The car is running megajolt and runs well its not been set up yet, but will be taken to Slark to be when the weather warms up a bit. Unless someone wants the car without being setup...

The car has taken about 5 years to get to this stage but needs must. I have probably forgotten a whole load of stuff...

I was thinking it may be worth £4-5k? Any one else like to comment?

That might be a little undervalued based on the shit that sells on ebay. It's got a lot of valuable bits on it. 5.5K maybe 6..

That's good news, I hate to over value things and then be disappointed when they don't sell. Thanks!

Whilst it looks a nice thing, do not expect to sell it as a complete car for the sum of what the bits are worth.
Sadly a lot of modified cars are worth more in bits than as a whole.

I did think about that. I would rather sell it complete but If it doesn't sell it may be that it gets broken up...

looking back in time at some of the other cars broken for parts, it didn't take long to pretty much see everything sold.

as a whole it seems rust buckets are going for small fortune with the well restored and looked after mini with all the extras not fetching much more *frown* 4-5k seems a good start price
