hi all

been looking at buying 7.5 inch calipers from mini sport or mini spares. i have notice that the mini spares calipers have 2 bleed nipples on each caliper. does anyone the advantages to this or disadvantages. cant stop thinking that the mini spares are better cause the old metro turbo brakes had 2 nipples as well but still not 100% sure any information would be great thanks.

They have 2 nipples so people cannot put them on the wrong side (upside down), it is a matter of opinion, I have kad 4 pots, but I would personally choose spares over sport.

Since when?

The Minispares version has two bleed nipples, but they are either side of the caliper, not top and bottom. So they can still be fitted upside down.

This makes it easier to get all the air out of them compared with the mini sport version.

Never seen the minispares calipers, I was refering to my kad ones. I presumed minispares were the same.

The problem for me with the minisport ones was that they used to spit out there dust seals and seize up, minisport sorted this however it should never have been sold like this.

I have minisport and they are gd,

However, there is no real dust seal so they do require a yearly clean. So if u do alot of miles, there probibly not the best

13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat!
