When James May built the biggest Scalextric track in the world @ nearly three miles long, on the site of Britain's oldest grand prix track at Brooklands. He contacted Scalextric and they sent him boxes of brand new track. I am attempting to build a massive four lane with Vintage track some of it 40 years old, armed with a test lamp, and old screw driver, sandpaper, wirewool and a old cleaning stone, 4 vintage controllers, power pack and a block of wood to help bend the kinks out of the track.

Bet James May did have all these problems to deal with. lol

I will get there..............................!!!!!!

Find out more about our vintage 73ft x 20ft Scalextric 4 lane track open day on Feb 4th.

Turbo Mini members welcome.....

Good luck with the track! I remember that front end from my college days working with Craig! Always liked it used to sit on a mini pickup :)

I'm sure you're too far away fpor me to make the trip, but good luck.

I don't have any Minis either, just some Metro's and a nicely modified Mk3 Escort.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination,
talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol
