How do gents

I've seen this excellent approach but wondered if there were any off the shelf ideas for mounting a kenlowe fan? I have the original straps etc but they just look a bit shite?

Any other ideas?

Is it better to cut the vent section from the inner wing for better air flow ?

The first picture is a bit crap IMO, too many gaps around the fan and between the fan and rad for it to be efficient at frawing air through.

The later minis had a circular hole in the inner wing to fit a fan, which is the best way.

Cheers folks, not that keen on the idea of having weld a new inner wing section in, but I get the idea that the fan needs to be closer to the rad.

By the way this isn't the only fan, I am running the additional one.

Do you think I could cut the slated panel out of the inner wing and just fasten the kenlowe to the radiator?

Only fear with this is that the rules say I can't cut the inner wing I think?

Just been studying the car in the workshop... Think I am going to mount the fan as the above photos and make some ally ducting a similar style to a clubby inner wing if it struggles. I'd have to chop a lot of inner wing out to get the fan on the engine bay side.

On the other hand I do have a cinq rad and that just fits down the front of the engine but no space for an additional fan on the rad.

Just as a side, why do you think you need an extra fan?

I run 180bhp 998 turbo with just the plastic fan, no problem at all.
