A nice sensible 5 door family hatchback. Goes like a stabbed cat. Bit chavy, but what the hell..

Seems to struggle for traction in the wet, but that just makes it more fun. Can't wait for a dry day though.

well, for instance, if i was going to rob a bank and use a stolen red cupra r as a getaway car (which would be a great choice as the boot has plenty of space for loot), i'd find a picture of one on the internet and use those plates, meaning if i was to be seen on the way to the job my car would check out as legitimate and insured etc on any anpr device.

It just makes if harder for anyone to do anything dodgy if you don't broadcast the plate to 7 billion people.

oh the same as mine, get it revo'd (Also a bit chavy) but will go like a stabbed tiger! and better drivability.....awesome cars though, i think i got a cupra for the same money as a 3 year old golf, crazy inflated price, for pretty much the same car.....

I do like the seats, they look fresher than the vw's these days.

I've already been looking into remapping prices. They seem very varied.. You are right about the prices. I checked out an Audi S3 and a Golf GTI and R. This is the same price new as a standard Golf GTI with no kit in it at all. The Cupra R comes with everything. I have to admit the interior plastics aren't as good as the VW or Audi, but spec for spec it's over 10K cheaper.

I looked at getting an FR+ 170 TDI as my next company car, but settled on an A3 Black Edition 140 TDI instead.

Spec is almost identical apart from less power and sat nav (i have a tomtom) but the A3 interior was a much nicer place to be.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

agreed - there is a huge differance between the interior of the golf and A3

hmm not so much in the cupra, the seats in the cupra and cupra r are very nice. agreed the center consul is a bit plastic, but from the outside i prefer
the curves....

Is this a record from new car to empty space on the drive? Some twat broke into my house, stole the keys and pissed off with it last night!

What a pain. Got to order another one now! Glad it was a company car!

Fuckers - had the same happen to me with a high powered hatch.

It will more than likely be found in Liverpool...

that is pish. I can deal with the car being stolen; its someone being in the house that would piss me off

I just don't want that car back after being thrashed, kerbed etc - I'll have to put up with a shit hire car for weeks/months while I get a new one. I'll be getting the same car again, it was great for the 400miles I did in it.

It is a pisser about them being in the house, but they just took a step or two to the fridge and took the keys so I was lucky. Police reckon a pro crew as they left laptops, camera, wallet which were all downstairs in other rooms.

At least the police took it seriously, I had CSI round and the lot! She was a bit of a milf too..

No pictures John (you perv)

I was in bed. I thought I was a light sleeper too, but my bedroom is at the back of the house so I don't think I'd hear even if I was awake.

I'll be keeping the keys further from the door and fixing my alarm. I can't see them doing anything but running away if an alarm goes off when they open a door/window.
