Evening gents, picked up my second mini today to have a road car again. I'll post some pics tomorrow but wondered if any one could help with the alarm.

After several hours of googling (I had already started) it appears it could be the battery back up inside the sounder. Will have a look when it gets light |

if the led is on all the time its in valet mode -effectively switches off the alarm. If i remember correctly, put the key back in the ignition and put it to accessory position and flick the switch the other way. it should then go off and the alarm will work as normal.
