I've just bought myself a T3 turbo. Now, I read either here or TMF that the T3 comes on boost a bit later than the T2. Has anyone got an idea as to when the T3 comes on boost? |

Unfortunatly there are far too many variables that dictate when and if it may start to make boost to pin it down to a point in the rev range

what carl says but realistically on a 1275 dont expect much bellow 3500 rpm with a T3 Yes i moved to the darkside |

More info need. What engine, what can, what intercooler, what ignition, what boost, etc.

Im hoping for mine to come on boost earlier than 3000rpm which is why im going for the increased capacity. I prefer my boost to come in one giant kick up the arse, which is why i decided to go for the T3. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Well it's not built yet but ice just bought the T3. It'll be a 1330 block. The rest is still undecided. |

on my car i had boost coming in at 1800rpm and 85 lbs/ft at 2000 rpm .1312cc,using a soft cam and a 9.4:1 cr .no intercooler . this t3 had the earlier .25 a/r housing , which i think is vital if you want an early income of pressure .
