Here's how it was hand balled into the car, sat the engine in the frame and with various jacks raised it into the car.

Well took a bit of a turn in plans. Decided to fi turbo.

Fabricated the manifold today, just needs tig welding up now.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

Need to wait for Tigging to be done until the manifold side of things can be finished.

My new Shiny Pedal Box should come today so that's the plan of attack for tonight.

Need to weld some box section into the Bulk Head to mount that and steering column off. Then Weld some of these into the rear foot well to mount the seats nice and solid.

Not posted for a while so thought Id whack up an update.

Engine is nearly ready for starting, gotta hit the scrappers later for a MAP and IAT Sensor.

But ive now installed the Master Cylinders and Pots to the Pedal Box system.

Relocated the Handbrake and Mounted the seats on new welded in rails. Seats feel way better now, really nice and solid.

Ive also installed the gearlinkage and im pretty pleased with that.

I also took deliver of one of the more obcscure things Ive ever purchased. A QF 6 Pounder Anti Tank Gun lol

Its one of the Chinese ones, cost me £105 BIN off ebay with 3 years warranty which is probably worthless but worth a punt for the money.

Need to go back to the scrappers to pick up an e16se inlet and throttle body, i found 2 astra F's with them which was lucky

Slight update, got the inlet off the old astra bolted and will do nicely.

Just need to drill out the Injector Rail and get a map sensor plumbed in.

Yes Dave, bowl will need trimming a bit but will fit fine. Obviously Exhaust will need lagging up
