I have a 5 mile fitness test at work tomorrow, where I have to carry 25kg in my kit. So I was mucking about packing it and i kept coming up sort of weight then I had a *Idea* I have some CWPs sat in the shed.

Now i have 3 sets in my bag *surprised* and some sand!

I know its over but it don't include water.

Fun fun fun, Spending an hour pushing wheelbarrows full of concrete uphill must feel like similar to how you feel after that, it hurts!
Im pretty sure the barrows were 4 cu ft, and i worked out each barrow to be thereabouts 100-130kg a go *indifferent*

At the end you have to climb a rope and jump a ditch.

Rather you than me mate, since I've stopped using my bike my fitness has gone downhill, It now knackers me more than a hard day at work going places on my bike, which is becoming ever more common with my car in 100 bits!

Either that or this *hehe!*

I'd prefer the burger for dinner as opposed to small children myself.

They was hard men back then, I did a competition last year where we had around 34kgs in kit over 50km in 48hrs straight with stands on the way. And a swim across a lake with it all.

You swam with 34kgs on your back? Is that even possible? And I'm a strong swimmer.

You can see how it sort of works in the link, you get your bivvi bag out and put all your bits and bobs in, change into your gore-tex kit to swim across (when you get out just shake it off), thing is you have to think how much you have walked with no sleep and not much food, also this is in the last 6hrs just to break you that bit more.

That makes more sense. still seems a daft thing to do. But I admire anyone who can do that sort of thing.
