the car is a shit brick, u'll blow the engine putting a turbo on it! i had one and spent ?1000's modifying it and it was crap!!! get a 1600 + and start from there if you want it that badly. *tongue*

thatd be fine but as long as i don't put a bigger engine in it it won't affect my insurance wherther i put a turbo on it or not

Hell, go for nitrous then! This is much easier to fit, and will not require as many mods to the engine that a blower would.

buy a R5GT turbo then or similar

yeah but thats a standard turbo car and so the insurance will b higher on it where as if i simply add a turbo to my 1300 it will not affect my preimium

i cant see how that works, most insurance companies insist on an engineers report if you have done the conversion your self, and many dont, but i cant believe it wont change the cost of your insurance

well when i phoned my insurance provider they said it would not affect my premium but i would just have to let them know when i had it fitted
