hey lads do the 998's gboxs fit on a 1275 or a 1275 metro turbo?

anything i need to change to make it work? or can i just bolt up?

No. a 1275 engine will fit on a 998 gearbox though. You just need to make sure you use the corresponding transfer case.

The transfer gears in the box (i.e. the idler and first motion) are the same in 1275 and 998s, it's only the primary that differs.

I'd be tempted to use a whole set rather than mix and match, but I doubt it'll really make a differance.
