Hi, does anyone know off hand what hoses I need for a basic intercooler install?

I have a r2 t2 turbo on a mirage manifold and a fiesta turbo intercooler, I think they should be 51mm diameter, but I'm unsure how many and what degree bends would be needed (as the car isn't ready yet but I want to collect most of the bits beforehand)

If you could remember back to when you did it and post up which and how many hoses you needed it would be a great help..

All depends what intercooler you have and where you place it...

R2T2 - funny.

It will be impossible to say. IC hoses are always the last thing I buy as you just never know what you're going to need.

Thanks guys. I'll just buy some, then see how I get on. Will be ordering from ZenaRacing which is in hongkong and I'm unsure of the delivery times

P.s. The spelling mistake is due to the small iPhone screens and keyboard. Haha

What i'd do is (if you have the intercooler and turbo) mock it up under your bonet. Use some cardboard and cut a template of where you want the hoses to run. then you can measure that and get the angles and lengths pretty much spot on.

if you dont have them, just imagine where they will be and do the same, but just buy a bit more hose?

i think my t2 is 45 id and my ic is 51 id which is from an toyota ic but like everyone says its hard to say.

apmotorstore is a good place once you've measured everything and they so reducers too as i have a 45>51 90 degree off my turbo.

loving the r2 t2 turbo comment; made my week *happy*
