They have to be in serviceable condition for exchange, everything needs to be straight and with good thread, and the places where the bearings sit can't be too worn. My mates got rejected. Basically you pay for it to be cleaned, painted, new pin/bush/bearing and reamed out. Which is why I'm doing mine myself, as i know someone who can ream the bush for me.
