Hi everyone i thought i better introduce myself. Ive been posting on here for ages now but never really let anyone know who i am or what i do.
Well im 27 and a mechanic working for salford council. I work on ALL of their machinery from mowers, sweepers, vans and bin waggons.
I live in salford and just under two years ago bought my first house (on my own) which was a total wreck. Took me 8 months to fix it up and get it livable again.
All of those pics can be seen here for anyone tho likes a building project.

So Ive had a mini for quite a few years now but i took it off the road about 12 months ago due to it needing work. I decided to leave it until i got a new garage built so i could have a nice workshop to do it in. Since i took it off the road ive been driving this.

Still needs some work but .... it works.

So today... Today my new garage arrived and to say im happy is a massive undertatement. I just need to wait a little longer for things to dry out fully before painting the floor and making a work bench But now the mini has a home :)

Talking of the mini heres the pics.

My plan isnt for a light weight racer at all. Im going to try make it more.... comfortable. My plan is for a 998 turbo just because i like 998s basically.

Oh my names matt. hahaha

Ahh the house is all done now and im living in it. Theirs a few pages of pics so you may have to trawl though em. The garage was the last piece of the puzzle really.
House and garage are alarmed but as everyone knows if someone wants to break in and is determined enough you wont stop em. besides i know most of the hard cases round here so its not too much of a problem.

Rascal + engine swap = monster sleeper in the next RWYB !!!!

I'm thinking longitudinal V6 with a big turbo !

Been done although not with a turbo. So has a bike engine, so has putting a turbo on a standard engine with injection. A guy in the club put a 1.6 cvh turbo in one.
Still it does need more power badly. Its only 997cc! Id love to do something with it but its my daily so only has to work.

997 is it ?
3 cylinders or 4 ?
How much does it put out ?

I always found those van a little out of place : they're so small and "weak", I think they're very funny but I wouldn't want to drive one quick ...

4 cylinder. 8 valve OHC. Puts out about 40ish BHP. 5 speed RWD. Its SCARY in wind espically when empty. Their is no handling as such just rolling. Theirs even a rascal club forum!
