Which is better? Avonbar's or Minispares one? No idea what the differences are tho if any.

i got a minispares one and its fucked after less than a year, spring lost its springyness and the joint blows like a cheap whore.

Get yourself a new spring, most exhaust fitting places will sort you out.

Then make a hacksaw cut in the brackets the spring attaches to, remove the old one, and put a new one in. Then MIG the bracket back up again, job sorted.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

mirage manifolds *happy*

Ive never had a problem with any of them ive had. they only have one spring unlike original metty ones that had 2.

Just takes me back to my early days of Minis, fitting an LCB without the gearbox bracket and breaking it at two month intervals for 10 months until I figured out why....!

mine'll be fines. my exhaust is on rubber hangers. you know th eones that just slide over the spikes, just so that it doesnt break anymore
