Stuck with Lucas Switches been given some for free but can't find the part numbers online anyone like to piont me in the right direction please,

If you have a light switch, that is, OFF, SIDE LIGHTS and HEAD LIGHTS, this may help.. Alan

Ill look on mini spares but I got given the switches you see, has anyone got a picture of the back of a light switch for them? |

If you look closer you will see that the terminals are piggy backs in case I want another spur off them, never seen insulated piggy backs, not been able to buy any that are insulated.. Main Build

Thats the back of the switch in the picture, and the three position one is headlights.. Alan

Mini spares don't reconizge the 2 part numbers i've put up :( |

It’s a MK3 or MK4 loom that I have fitted and modified, I know what your saying but to be honest if your going to play around with the panel at all, I would take off the battery lead because the terminals by there design don’t push all the way on so you can still short out terminal by accident.. Alan fair enough i only know cause i got caught out in my first mini and pulled the headlight switch with the sidelights on lots of little experiences like that has made me very paranoid about electrics especially when working on older cars like ours where standards were lower.

Why do you need the part numbers, the only switches you can buy now from anywhere are imports and they won’t have the same numbers as genuine switches.. Alan

I was just wondering because I didn't know what the switches would do we've tested them on contounity but I don't have my loom in the mini (Or anything) so Can't test them properly.
