Im looking at buying another mini and i am lead to believe that it has/used to have hydro sh*t suspension and was wondering if it can be changed to something else, like coilovers, hi los and so on

It can be changed to anything you like. The suspension is the same just he springs are hydro. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Rally cars used to use hydro, so it can't be that bad. The hydrolastic displacers are expensive to change though! (cones)
