Im looking at buying another mini and i am lead to believe that it has/used to have hydro sh*t suspension and was wondering if it can be changed to something else, like coilovers, hi los and so on

It can be changed to anything you like. The suspension is the same just he springs are hydro.

If it is in good nick and a road car you used to be able to get a handling kit for it and it rides better than rubber!

Rally cars used to use hydro, so it can't be that bad. The hydrolastic displacers are expensive to change though! (cones)
We're hoping our hornet is okay when it's pumped up for that reason unless we have a pipe leak which is an easy fix.
