im doing mini engine up i have bought a 1275 nitrated crank with numbers 12g1505a is there any way of telling if its a stroker crank all ive been told its a 1440 stroker with big journals on rods n mains could anyone please help

also can u get straigh cut timing gears

Timing hears are teeth not gears, like on a push bike. I'm assuming you meant straight cut drop gears

There was a timing kit with straight cut gears. I don't think they are being produced currently though.

The big end bearing diameters will be to 's' con rod size if it's been stroked I believe.

The timing kit is a pretty special modification, are you sure you don't mean drop gears? ^^^^ they make a horrendously beautiful noise.

yes thats right

"usually" that are stroked to 84mm

Im in agreement too, im also adding another 2 SC drops to my engine so the it will become a horrendously beautiful unbearable noise. *hehe!*

love it i used to have straight cuts in v8 loved noise wanted same for mini but could only ones for gear box which dont make noise at idel
