Australia oi oi oi!

hey lads any one have a photo of these bolted up?

i have an A+ engine but a MK1 subframe and im not sure where to bolt on the engine and where to drill on the lower part of the subframe.

If you mean the standard one, there is an adapter plate that bolts to the engine (low down on the gearbox casing) and there is a vertical plate welded inside the "U" section of the front subframe rail. It bolts through a hole in that plate, not the subframe itself.

I'll see if I can do a piccy later today.



EDIT, changed transfer housing to gearbox casing, wasn't thinking straight....

Photo from a scrap subby out back with steady and adapter plate still attached



Note the adapter plate is re-welded where it cracked, they allways do.....

Ah thank you sir! But where does it bolt onto on the engine? I do not want to create any oil leaks haha.. Do you think I need it?? Is it better to have a few steady then just 2 top ones?

I spent about half an hour removing mine from the subframe yesterday. lol

Ive never bothered with the front one, I just use the rear ones instead.
