Hi all on the compressor housing on the t3 it has two take off one for the actuator but where does the other one go to?

Cheers Rick

Goes to the ECU on a standard metro turbo. Just block it up.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Just been out faffing with my T3 whilst putting it back together, You can use that other takeoff for a bleed valve I presume in place of the ECU?
It's what I was planning on doing.

bleed valve needs to go between the turbo and the actuator

Shouldn't make that much difference should it? The two way union is pretty unrestricted.

actually not with the t3. i used a bleed valve to bleed from the t piece to atmosphere and it worked. was very smooth and i got upto 14psi with the standard actuator. but i never tried anything more than 14psi :)

I have already connected my bleed valve inline going to the actuator. I will blank the other side off.

Thank you :)

Quick question on the hiff 44 carb the big cylinder bit that the needle fits in is sitting down at the moment and I don't think this is right as it is stopping air passing. How do you fill the dash pot oil up?

Cheers Rick

You unscrew the black plastic knob on the top and pour a little in.

There is a spring pushing the 'big cylinder' down, once it is running the air flow past it will lift it up.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I think my actuator is 10psi so that should see me to the 17psi i wanted hopefully.
