These interested me when they first appeared. I have not spoken to anyone that has used them.

However, my personal thoughts are that in order to give the ultimate stiffness required in such a small travel would mean the springs would probably be VERY harsh.

Modern springs on cars are of a length to allow a reasonable amount of progression from soft to stiff, with the packaging confines of a mini subframe there is not the space to achieve this.
I would guess on a pure track car they would be better suited but for anything that has to negoitiate our crap UK roads probably a bit OTT for the road.

I would be interested to hear if anyone has used these though and what they thought of them?

Go on the Minimania forum and do a search. Lots of people have fitted them in the US. As far as I can remember lots of people in the US has got problems with them as well :)

But, they've got bigger problems with their government!

not sure if any of you are farmiliar with go-mini?

they are a company that make v-tec frames in the states. they make their own set of these coils. and they are a lot cheaper. and look like the exact same thing

They showed you how to fit them in mays 2005 miniworld, but didn't give a review on ride quality etc
