Anyone running CTV find it give off a fair amount of vapour? I find that my catch tank is getting a lot of water in it, and that I get meyo in the filler cap and rocker box.

I have compression tested the car a few times becasue I thaught it was a head gasket. I was going to try one of those siffer tests either that or take the head off. The car seems to run great and pulls well.

Just thinking others might find the same, I realise that the current temps might be something to do with it. I dont normanly run the car at this time of year.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

It won't help that at this time of year the air is full of moisture and condensation on the rocker cover will be increased.

I can't say mine is bad with CTV. But I generally don't use mine much in the winter.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I use mine all weathers but I dont seem to suffer much from this, over the winter i probably get an inch or two of mayo in the (plastic) catch can.

Oil wont make a difference to how the engine breathes via the crankcase.

What thermostat is in the engine and what sort of driving ?

Condensation/mayo is common on a lot of engines in cold weather. It will be worse if you have a cold stat fitted, or there are few long journeys to get everything up to a proper operating temperature

Pulling the head on the car is a PIA. I might try and get a sniffer.

I've got a 'Block Tester' sniffer kit if you want to borrow it next time you're passing by

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
