Woke up this morning to find my cars boot open, glove box emptyed across the car everything turned inside out.

What a way to find out your key fob has run out of battery...

Lucky for me nothing was stolen, they missed the sat nav and £300 pounds of sun glasses. What day and age do we live in

what car was this in paul? but i agree.....society these days is pretty sick.

It is shit mate, I had my old car broken into twice to look through everything and a 3 rd time to try and pinch it, where they successfully snapped the steering colomn in two.
tbh I think there are less car thefts now than when I was a kid and before that.

god, this takes me back to the fateful morning in Oct when the laptop case was taken out the back of mine; i'm still picking up the pieces as a result.

They took my mac wire cutters and needel nose pliers, what a suprise really. Also my brother in laws car was targeted about 2 weeks ago took his ipod work clock card and a few other things, they only live 5 min walk from mine so it must be someone local.

At least i took my gf engagement ring in last night as i had been keeping it in the car so she wouldnt find it.

The key fob battery has now been changed and all working again, i will deff be checking the doors before i go in now.

As for the car is a 2008 clio 3 tce, doesnt look special or anything and has a massive dent in the boot from a prick in bnq.

i hope she dont read here now you've just mentioned that if you haven't asked her yet!

but i do find people are more opportunist these days. may not still the car but they break in because they might find something. wastes our money and there time. worthless scum with no respect for other peoples pocessions.

All these thefts make me want to spend some money on a decent alarm with proximity sensors. And I will be doing on the aygo and mini!!!

A friend of mine back in the day used to have a shocking taste in music. It used to be truly embarrassing if you went any where in his car, so much so there was universal relief when he put some tinted windows in the back as we would fight to sit in there.


He left his car as work the one night and someone broke into it. They pilfered his wireless, speakers, wheels, and hunted through his cd collection.

Left on the passenger seat was every single one!

They are perscription lenses in osiris frames, the frames were 300 alone.

well i have said it befor and will say it again.......... THE RAT BASTARDS!

Keyfob ran out of battery i didnt know thought i locked the car so it is my fault but still the nerve to check the doors or what ever left the boot wide open and the passanger door didnt even bother shutting them. Went through the glove box and the side pockets and missed all valuble bits.

Had my old Volvo broke into before while i was at a pub. They stole my 12cd changer, left my head unit and house keys.
was mostly annoyed because the stupid crack whores wouldnt like my music anyway!
and i still had to get new side glass!

my wifes car got broken into the week before we got married, everything was scattered across the car park and the only thing taken was a bottle of shampoo!!

wish they had stolen it or burnt it out as its a shit box!

Someone broke into my mini :( Stole my battery spare wheel, rocker cover, snapped the steering lock, dust caps and wheel centres :/ lucky I had the whole lot in spares and the oringals where't in the car.
