This is on a hydro gas metty, pete said something about rubber shockmounts but he ain't been on here for a while.*frown*

I think he meant fit them on the shock pistons?? as metro uses mini rear shocks on the front this is the only place I can think

any ideas*wink*

No, I think from vague distant memory, you use bump stops off the back of an MGB, these are quite a tall, very progressive type of bump stop, so effectively stiffen the suspension up. You set the ride height so as to be _just_ off the bump stops, so as soon as it moves it settles onto the stops and then compresses them.
They contact the upper arm somewhere but no idea where you mount them you will have to do some detective work on that one.
But if you are using adj mini shockers can the same thing not be achieved bu winding them up a bit harder?

Yeah mgb was mentioned somewhere, but the bump stops got cut off to fit the shocks,But I see in haynes book metty turbo had bumpstops fitted to top arm and the contact area on the hydragas cover plate where as normal is the other way round

So I will have to find some turbo metty bump stop bits
