Well firstly a big thanks to colin for lending me his block testing kit...
I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

what was it torqued to? Iv managed to get this process down to a t now it only take and hour to change one, did mine today Done now needs redoing lol |

all book figures. I'm thinking my torque wrench needs checking?? I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

may be worth having it checked how long was it running for could just be a dodgy gasket. I just got one of the black fibre ones from mini spares they come with a 3 year warranty and are replaced if blown. Done now needs redoing lol |

I will run a straight edge over the block to see it there is anything however I don't want to pull that too if I can get away with it.

Yep I don't think the correct clamping load was on the head. I have ordered a new stud kit. Maybe I never went to the correct figure. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I had that type of gasket on my 1275, and that did the same thing after a very low mileage, you need a ( BK450) head gasket, that’s what I was told, I’ve put one on my turbo engine but not had it running yet.. Alan Main Build

You can't run them on a 998 I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Well I have cleaned everything up and stuck a new stud kit on and shelled out on one of these bad boys.

Why can’t you run 998 on this gasket, just like to know out of interest.. Alan

The holes are in the wrong place I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
