Evening all

Im picking up a new Mini tomorrow from Rye in East Sussex and will be travelling North back up to Congleton, Cheshire at approx 17:00 so will be at the 25 from sixish I would guess.

Does anybody know which is the best way round to go? Clocwise or Anticlockwise to junction 16 (M40) i think both routes are almost identical distance.

My route is then the M42 and finally the M6.

Any pointers much appreciated.

Thanks
Andy

I'd say clockwise if you going M40, then you'll miss the dartford crossing

Clockwise without a doubt. Dartford is a nightmare at the best of times, loads of road works between the M11 a dartford with 50mph average speed cameras.

The only real hold up I find clockwise, is around the M3.

I find M5 is quite often quicker than the M42, but at the moment there is alot of road works around the M5 which are 40mph average speed...so its 50/50.
