the 680 amps for 5 secs seems pretty crap to me, it's not a car battery that's for sure,

i've got about 3 of these sat in my garage, from wheelchairs. always been tempted to see if they''d be any good on a car but been a bit wary of them.

We had one on the van. Did the job.

We flattened the vans a couple of times and it seemed to recover.

Halfords charger in standard mode. It did it twice and charged up fine.

I've got one on my 1380, it does the job (just) but it does struggle. On a turbo I'd imagine it will be ok due to the lower compression.

Why would you want to lighten up the rear? Seems to me that you'd be better off with a heavy battery in the boot, and spend your effort/cash making the front end lighter.

all the same size L 15 cm W 9 cm H 10.5 cm

It makes no difference. If you loose a couple of kg from the rear and then from the front it all balances.

I've shifted my diet battery onto the front inner wing.
