Hiya i know there have been so many posts about which pistons but they are getting old now and stocks of 998 pistons are changing too often. what piston options are there at the moment that are ok-ish for turbo use. I know there were pistons comming in from australia but if i remember the ones to go for were +60" or bigger as these didn't have the split under the rings and oil holes (is this correct). the other option i was looking at were the mega pistons from minispares but they were allways out of stock now they look to have dissapeared. Thanks for your time James

If you got a set of pistons with the extra Ring on the skirt they are rubbish, my moggie had a set of them and it eaten the bores right up :/

To be honest it's a bit of a problem. The Mega pistons are NLA and they haven't been replaced by anything really.

The Aus pistons are not as nice a piston as the old Megas were but they survive ok.

If you have deep pockets Swiftune sell some nive forged ones with 8cc dishes.

Identical to the MS pistons.
