the smoke is white, i had the guides and stems seals done last year. when i got the head back the valve's seemed to have a bit of play in them, side to side so i took it back they said it was normal but not 100% sure it is? i used the old valves but measured them 1st, they were all ok |

white is usually moisture in the smoke. check your head gasket is good. If it's a fresh build or one that has been apart for a bit it could have some moisture/oil left ot burn of. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

You could have smoke from the turbo out the exhaust side, which would mean no oil in the inlet.
In the 13's at last!.. Just |

my stem seals and/or guides have gone and mine starts with a big cloud of white'ish smoke but clears after 30 secs or so. doesnt help that i park it on a slight down bank as oil sits on the valves all night. one day boost will be mine!
