I have just completed my drawings of all the mini glass so that I can can print out templates for cutting my plastic windows out.

Now I am not saying that the drawings are perfect (the front screen is yet to be properly put to the test, and the rear quarters are sized to fit the frame and not fit in a seal). However, I am happy to share my work and put a copy of the drawings up. My question is what format would people like. It is in Autocad, but it can easily be converted to PDF, which I guess will suit more people.

If you want to use these you will need an A0 printer by the way.

Anyway, if you have a format you might like let me know and I will upload the files to somewhere.

Ben

Here are the files. (once again, I am happy to use these my self, but make sure you are happy with them before cutting your plastic into scrap, I take no responsibility for the accuracy of these drawings)

UPDATE. The PDF version was converted to the wrong scale (about 4% small) any file downloaded before today (16/04/12) should be discarded.

Just be careful when printing at A0 with PDF version that the scaling is spot on.

If anyone wanted a set I wouldn't mind printing out a few for people, have access to A0 printer but couldn't do no more than like 5 people really.

OK, I'll put autocad and PDF up. I have just realised that I have left the drawing in the office, so it will be Monday before I get it done.

DXF is problably the best format. Most companys use this for their G-Coding programs to cut.

Thanks very much for sharing! I won't hold anyone responsible etc but what were they drawn to fit? I.e. you said rear quarters were over size to fit the frame directly (to bond or rivet in), is the rear the same or made to fit into a rubber?

Thanks,
TC

Front and rear screens are to be fitted with rubbers.

Cool, and the door windows just fit inside the frame and rivet to the top of the door skin?

Door windows are the same size as normal door glass. We have just attached to the top of the door skin, yes.
