Hi
My name is Scott and I'm from the US.
My mini came to me in a dismantled state in the mid-eighties for trade on some little work I had done plus $600 dollars.
Stored away for 30+ years I never had time for it. Now my kids are grown and they talked me into restoring her. Researching the old mini I found that it was an original shell 1964 MK1 Morris Cooper S 1071cc. Heritage Certificate states it was dispatched 23rd of March 1964 to Tangiers, Morocco how it landed in the states I don't know. Formally I was a body shop tech for 30 years since got out of the business but I'm sure I'm still up to the task. Wish me luck I'll certainly need it.

Result, the 1071's are worth a fortune now. Looks like the shell needs a lot of work, but that just adds to the fun. :)

Steve thanks for that important part. This cam will make all the difference of how it behaves. I plan on driving this car daily weather permitting.
