can i fit the mk3 rear lights ie without reverse lamps to my mk5 shell ? Crystal Sound Audio said:

yes there same fitment, i know cause ive done opposite, mk 5's in a mk3.

I was sure the lense was smaller without the reverse light.... and didn't fit :S

You can't just change the lenses, you have to change the complete light unit. The mounting brackets are in the same place so its a straight swap with a bit of wiring to do.
