Can anyone recommend me somewhere to buy an intercool core from? I'm looking for something about the same size as a number plate and around 2.5" thick?

The plan is to sit it in the valance of my clubman estate but I'm yet to find a standard item that will fit so I'm looking at doing my own.

Have you tried a sierra cosworth item? Sounds very similar to what you're after.

This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting.

Thanks Wolfie, I'll give them a call and get a price next week. No doubt I'll have to sell a kidney and one of my brothers to get what I want. *hehe!*

Pace are usually quite cheap for cores and can make pretty much anything you want

202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
