if i buy an avonbar 12psi actuator do i have to run 12 or could i run 10psi cheers lee |

i have got low comp pistons is it safe to run 12 |

if you by a 12 psi act, you could run it at 4 psi if you like. it doesn't have to be at 12!

well i was hoping to run 10 ive been told that you can adjust it by screwing the rod in or out is this true |

personally i would just get an 8psi one and use your bleed valve to raise it up to 12psi when you want the power |

yes like i said you can almost run what you like sort of, so yes that's how you ajust it. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

i think the way to go mat is say 8 psi actuator and then you may get enough preload by adjusting the rod lenth to 10 ish.... if you wish

I adopt Ben's strategy - use slightly less pre-load. Lets be honest, are you ever going to de-tune your car? Unlikely! So a 12psi unit with a smaller pre-load will do the job just fine, and have bags over for future boost increases. On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:
