Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

you will run 12psi

if you buy a 10 psi one you will run 10

and so on .......................

better to go with the lower number and then you can bleed the signall off to the actuator later on

giving you a higher boost figure

but thats another story.

watch boost figures over 8 psi on a standard turbo motor with standard C/R ratio as this can cause detanation and rapidly blow the head gasket or at worst melt the pistons .....

if you by a 12 psi act, you could run it at 4 psi if you like. it doesn't have to be at 12!

you could prob run it at 14 or more if you needed, so yes it's only a guide fig as it depends on how you set it up!

First mini turbo to get in the 12's & site perv

Herefordshire

personally i would just get an 8psi one and use your bleed valve to raise it up to 12psi when you want the power

yes like i said you can almost run what you like sort of, so yes that's how you ajust it.

i think the way to go mat is say 8 psi actuator and then you may get enough preload by adjusting the rod lenth to 10 ish.... if you wish

this helps to eliminate boost creep.
then bleading the signal off to raise the boost further.

going the way say from a high sprung actuator say 12 down would induce boost creep further on the actuator which helps to rob the motor of all the driving fun

having said that! thats only my oppinion *indifferent*

I adopt Ben's strategy - use slightly less pre-load. Lets be honest, are you ever going to de-tune your car? Unlikely! So a 12psi unit with a smaller pre-load will do the job just fine, and have bags over for future boost increases.
