Hello all

Messing about in the garage this afternoon for a bit, went to check cam endfloat and it is way out e.g. about 1 mm of float. This does not seem acceptable to me.
The cam locating plate is new, so how can I go about reducing the float? I considered using shims between the cam and the locating plate but this seemed a bit rough?

Any comments please.

You need to machine the cam gear to get the desired end float.

Its obvious where, once ya look at the wheel.

Don't forget to check the offset between the cam drive gears after machining the larger one however!
