Hi!

What's the difference between FAM1026 and FAM 1028 blocks!?

And why does my latest aquisition (FAM1026) have the Austin Rover logo cast nto the back? Is it perhaps a very, very late 998 block?

Not sure about the numbers but there are at least 3 different types of A+ castings:

Non-linered
Linered
One which looks like the linered casting, but isn't (this was an odd ballthat I chucked in the bin and I'm a bit hazy on the details)

From the inside it's easy to tell the differance.
