Lag doesnt seem to be too bad, running about 10psi i think. Its coming off the road for a good under bonnet and general tidy but nothing major for the minute. Lags only bad in first gear as once its spun up its fine. Especially with it being low geared on 10's means it revving all through each gear.

Its not going to change much, it will be a lot lower though!

That looks 1 nice lil van. A real sleeper!!!!!!!

What spec is it running??

What intercooler has it got plumbed in there??

I'll have to pop up and see it when it's back on the road.

Hopefully in the returbo'd yellow beast

Not too sure on spec to be honest. Think its pretty much standard with an intercooler and dump valve. Not sure what the intercooler is, we're trying to figure that one out aswell!

If you want to come over to see how anything fits your more than welcome. Its still on the road just going to be having odd bits on and off to tidy it all up and optimise the intercooler position

Its a LeMans group A one. I think its a piston one. Works a treat and seals much better than a diapraghm one.

Dont mind changing the piston seals every now and then. Sure it will be fine anyway.

Sounds really nice. Not too loud but loud enough at 10psi. Prefer the sound of it to a diapraghm one at low boost.

I did my last engine rebuild in my kitchen! Sadly I don't have my own place anymore and I can't see my mum letting me do that again LOL!

What spec is the head?

Unfortunately its only an mg metro head, havent got the time to have a play with it! See if i can beat any turbos with it! They'd have to be very poorly for me to!

Thats my mum's dining room table!!!!! Even got her adding a coat of paint while i was at work!! :)

Just used some smooth hammerite. Lets hope it stays on! Takes some cleaning up! Prefer to do individual bits but havent had time to strip completely, hope it will be back on the road saturday.

Engine Enamal (halfords sell it) works better than Hammerite... hammerite goes soft at 80 degrees C.

Or if you want to do it cheap go for BBQ paint!

I saw the engine enamel but prefered the hammerite colour, my mate painted his with it and it looked a bit pink.
