hello

quick query, is it safe to have a 7" slick on a 6" rim?

what about if i was running low pressures in there?

and what about on the track?

i dont want them popping off whilst i charge along at 30mph

Usually slicks have a rated rim fitting size.

I've just checked, and both Avon and Hoosier reccomend 6-8" rims for 7" tyres. Dont know about other manufactures though..

these were dunlops i aquired off a miglia

if they are miglia slicks, they will go fine on 6" rims mate
